Welcome baskets contain essential hygiene items and comfort supplies that are given to individuals and families when they arrive at the hotel. These baskets help make their stay more comfortable and provide them with necessary items.

At this time, Hotels for Homeless KC provides hotel stays exclusively through our partner agencies. We are working to build our network and hope to be able to connect individuals in need with our partner agencies in the future.

Your donation directly funds hotel stays and supports our partner agencies in providing essential resources to individuals and families experiencing homelessness.

We track the number of hotel stays provided, the number of individuals served, and the outcomes achieved through our partner agencies. We also collect data on improved sleep quality, reduced anxiety, and other indicators of well-being.

We collaborate with agencies that provide direct services to individuals and families experiencing homelessness, including shelters, social service organizations, and community outreach programs.

You identify clients needing immediate shelter, and we provide funding for hotel stays. You continue to offer essential support services.

We will review your application and contact you via email within 5 business days to let you know if your agency has been approved. If approved, you will receive login information for your agency, to access our Partner Portal and submit a Hotel Fund Request form for your clients.

While hotel stays are the primary focus, we can discuss options for covering other needs on a case-by-case basis.

Partners will report client outcomes every 6 months for a year following the client's hotel stay, using a reporting form provided in the Partner Portal.

We partner with local agencies who identify individuals and families in urgent need of shelter. They then use our funds to secure hotel rooms, providing immediate relief from the streets.

Our partner agencies, who work directly with those experiencing homelessness, identify individuals and families with the most urgent needs based on their assessments.

Our partner agencies connect individuals with essential resources, such as case management, job training, and housing assistance, to help them achieve long-term stability.
